Opportunities

It's come to our attention that TF2Lobby has been down for a while. While this would be a great opportunity to launch TF2Center, I'm afraid we're not quite there yet!

But don't fret, we're still working hard at this and hope to have something to show you guys soon. There's nothing more concrete at the moment to pass on - we're finishing the design implementation and making performance improvements, which is hard to demonstrate - but rest assured that we haven't forgotten about you (and we hope you haven't forgotten about us!)

The next update I write will (hopefully) have a date for the next round of testing. That's probably a few weeks away at this point, but watch this space!

    As long as noone does anything about TF2lobby, I think you should be good for a while with a big window of opportunity.

    I think it's not going to happen. When TF2Center gets released, TF2Lobby will be up again. Something like this is probably going to happen. Since they are leading highladner lobby site, they won't give TOP 1 to anyone. If they see this gets released, they're probably going to take care of this thing.

      Honestly from our point of view, if the release of TF2Center causes the TF2Lobby creators to fix the issues that people have mentioned, then the community benefits and we will count that as a win! We're working on TF2Center to benefit the community, after all!

      That's true. TF2Lobby will see they've got some competitors and it's possible that after that they will maybe take more care of their servers. It would be really awesome. And if TF2Center/TF2Lobby gets down, there's always another website where to go. Highlander lobby will never die!

    FM says TF2Lobby will be back up by the end of the week, and to let people know it's been down as he hasn't had internet access due to moving. Hope things are going well with the site shame launch won't coincide with lobby being down - although knowing lobby there's still a chance haha
